This website is operated by Eocene Studios™. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Eocene Studios™ and “you”, “they”, “client” or “customer” refers to user of our site and services. Eocene Studios™ offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “service” and agree to be bound by the following “Terms and Conditions” including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These terms and conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Please read these “Terms and Conditions” carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these “Terms and Conditions”. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these “Terms and Conditions” are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these “Terms and Conditions”.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the “Terms and Conditions”. You can review the most current version of the “Terms and Conditions” at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Your privacy is of the upmost importance. We respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation with regard to your personal information. For more information on this please see our Privacy Policy.
SERVICE AND COMMISSION CONTRACT
A contract or binding agreement will be formed when:
for a service of purchase, when an order is placed through our shop
for a service of commission painting work, when you confirm you would like to go ahead with a quote given to you
We will then send you a quote and a specification sheet (‘spec sheet’) which must be accurate and complete. Eocene Studios™ will not be responsible for any inaccuracies on this sheet. If you discover any inaccuracies, please notify us as soon as possible.
The contract continues as long as it takes us to perform the services and is governed by the law of Sweden.
PAINTING LEVELS
Eocene Studios™ offers three painting levels and matching basing levels among our commission painting services referred to as ‘Standard Issue’, ‘Master-Crafted’ and ‘Relic’. Full explanations of each level and tier can be found on our Commission painting request form page. Eocene Studios™ reserves the right to change the name or descriptions of any of our service tiers, and reserves the right to refuse an individual service level for any given model if we feel the quality of the model is not sufficient enough to match the descriptions of our service levels.
PRICING
All pricing are VAT (value added tax) exclusive unless otherwise stated. For clients/customers located in the EU, VAT will be charged on all purchases and transactions in accordance with Swedish & EU tax laws which will be visible upon checkout or on your invoice.
For commisson work, we will produce your quote based on your specific enquiry. We reserve the right to amend pricing as and when we see fit prior to giving you a quote in response to your enquiry. Once a quote has been received, it is valid for 30 days, unless we withdraw expressly.
We reserve the right to correct any mistakes within your quote at any time during the 30 days validity period.
The pricing of our services of purchase will be charged at a set price per model, set or digital unit as detailed in each listing or as agreed upon between us and you, the customer. Pricing of 3D-printing includes printing, rough clean of support structures, washing and curing. The pricing of our services of commission painting, including but not limited to our Building & Cleaning service, Painting service, Conversion service and Basing service, will be charged based on hourly fee of estimated work and, but not limited to, model cost if applicable, estimated material consumption and tool wear & tear.
Service pricing is decided entirely by Eocene Studios™ based on, when applicable, purchase price of model and/or parts, production and work time, a model’s size & weight, a model’s level of detail, the paint scheme or specific process being requested to be used by the client on the model, the painting tier requested, as well as any other factors Eocene Studios™ sees appropriate.
BUILDING AND CLEANING
We offer a building & cleaning service as an optional part of your commission with Eocene Studios™. We do prefer that clients use this service as it allows us to be a part of every section of the process, however we understand that some clients will already have started building their models, which is why this part of the service is optional. We must be made aware at the point of enquiry whether you would like us to build & clean your models or if they are already built & cleaned by you, the client. If the client opts to not use our building & cleaning service, we require that models are sent in having been fully built, unless sub-assemblies have been made in order to fascilitate painting and/or transportation as agreed upon between us and the client, and cleaned to the Eocene Studios™ standard. In this case, the client is entirely responsible for shipping charges, safe packaging to ensure preservation of the state & condition of the model, possible losses or damages in transit and, if applicable, import fees until the point when we receive it upon which a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you and responsibility will be transferred to us.
The Eocene Studios™ standard of building and cleaning includes but is not limited to:
All model parts to be fully cut from their sprue
No sprue join marks to be visible on the model
No gaps between model parts that are intended to be fully connected & closed
All mould lines to be fully cleaned
All areas that have been cleaned are to be smooth
If a client does not request our building & cleaning service but sends models into the we consider as not meeting our requirements as laid out above, Eocene Studios™ will assess the condition of the models, and give the client the following options of how to proceed; (a) the client may pay the necessary building and cleaning charges, (b) the client may request the models be sent back and the commission cancelled or (c) the client may request the models be return but the commission commences with the purchase of new models.
Please see our commission cancellations section on the page “Returns & Refunds” for further details on option (b & c). An already commenced commission work may not be cancelled, see under “Returns & Refunds”. The client will be informed when the work begins through a status update.
In the event that the client chooses option (c), a model supply cost will need to be issued by us and paid by the client in order for the commission to go ahead.
Eocene Studios™ reserves the right to cancel a commission and return the models to the client if we consider the models not to be of suitable condition for us to work on. The client does not need to agree with the evaluation of the models’ condition for this cancellation to take place.

PAINTING
Eocene Studios™ offers to our client three painting tiers titled ‘Standard Issue’, ‘Master-Crafted’ and ‘Relic’. For more details on what to expect from each painting tier, please visit our Services page.
Commission painting work will be done according to the specifics and details agreed upon between the client and Eocene Studios™. A client may make request alterations to a commissioned work, even if already commenced if we deem it feasible. In such a case, additional fees may incur. A client may at any time request status on an ongoing commission painting project of theirs, including pictures, and Eocene Studios™ will provide an update as soon as possible. We will also, to the best of our ability, provide updates on our own volition with regular intervals. Each completed paint work goes through a final quality and satisfaction control process with the client via e-mail before being shipped.
Our painting service is a mandatory service within our commission process, and reserve the right to refuse to send an enquiry to any client not wishing to include our painting service in their commission. An already commenced commission work may not be cancelled, see under “Returns & Refunds”. The client will be informed when the work begins through a status update.
CONVERTING
Eocene Studios™ offers separate optional model converting services to any client taking out a commission with us. These include kitbashing bitz from existing kits, or 3D-printed components.
Eocene Studios™ reserves the right to refuse a conversion as part of a commission if we do not feel it will be something that can be effectively executed. In this case the client will be notified, and may still be given a quote for the remainder of their enquiry without the inclusion of these services, or they may opt to cancel.

PAYMENT
For payment of purchased orders or deposit payment for commissioned work, we accept three forms of payment; Stripe (a), Paypal (b), bank transfer (c) or Swish (d).
The client will decide which payment method they would like to pay with, in writing if applicable, and Eocene Studios™ will invoice you accordingly. Once a payment has been completed, you enter into a service agreement with Eocene Studios™ under the terms & conditions detailed on this page. For purchase of 3D-printing services or digital items, a full payment must be provided for this agreement to be reached, unless otherwise stated by Eocene Studios™. For commisssion painting work, an initial 50 % deposit of the total service cost plus a full payment of model costs, if applicable, must be provided for this agreement to be reached, unless otherwise stated by Eocene Studios™. The remaining completion payment must be provided before any commissioned items are sent and within 14 days of us sending a completion e-mail to the client.
All payments and deposits are subject to our Return & Refund policy as detailed on the “Returns & Refunds” page.
Eocene Studios™ reserves the right to accept other forms of payment where we see necessary on a case by case basis, and also to refuse the use of any other payment methods from the client to Eocene Studios™.
Eocene Studios™ reserves the right to cancel any unpaid service within 7 days from the time the invoice was sent. If we do not receive the total completion payment within 14 days of us sending our completion email, we reserve the right to cancel the commission with no refund or products being sent to the client as per the contract entered into when taking a commission out with Eocene Studios™.
We reserve the right to allow completion payment extensions on a case-by-case basis. Any and all agreed payment period extensions must be agreed to in writing or are invalid.

SHIPPING
We will include any necessary shipping charges associated with your order within your quote, invoice or upon chekout.
Unless otherwise requested we will use Postnord Logistics’ untracked economy shipping service. Tracked service or express delivery is offered for an additional fee. Orders exceeding 100 € in value or containing commission paintings will have tracked service included.
Our shipping charges are calculated based on weight, size, and complexity of your order as well as the location it is being posted to.

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES
If you are having your order shipped outside of the European Union, please note that your shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that Eocene Studios™ has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. You will be the importer of record and are responsible for any import and duty based fee’s. In addition, the payment of any charges related to import clearance will be the responsibility of you, the customer/client.
Please note that when shipping goods from Sweden, shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. In respect of all goods dispatched to you to an address outside of the European Union, you are deemed to be the importer of the goods and must therefore comply with all the laws and regulations of the country into which the goods are being delivered.
When sending a package to Eocene Studios™, you, the client, also acknowledge and accept responsibility for any import charges Eocene Studios™ are requested to pay for any import related charges that are required to be paid in order for your package to be released.
If import charges are not covered by you, the charges will not be paid and your package will sit in customs uncleared until customs decide to take the next step on the unpaid item, which is a process Eocene Studios™ has no control or responsibility over.
COMMISSION WAITING LIST
Once a quote has been accepted by the client and the initial payment has been completed, the commission enters its place on the Eocene Studios™ waiting list. Each waiting list indicates an amount of time the client will be waiting before physical work on their commission begins. The client will be informed about the amount of time and if significant changes are made to it. This is not a time frame in which a client can expect their commission to be completed, which will be forwarded separately.
During the time the deposit is paid but the project is not yet completed, if the same individual client then books in a new commission, paying a new deposit, Eocene Studios™ reserves the right to combine the separate commissions together for the purposes of project completion, waiting list placement, waiting times, update emails and any other part of the process.
Eocene Studios™ reserves the right to change these waiting lists. We also advise that these waiting lists are an estimated guide time, and we reserve the right for a commission to take longer before beginning if needed.
STORE PURCHASE TERMS
By agreeing to these “Terms and Conditions”, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal purpose. Digital items downloaded for free or purchased from our website may not be uploaded on third-party sites, sold or otherwise shared without permission. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the “Terms and Conditions” will result in an immediate termination of your services.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.
MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products or services are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the service.
PRODUCTS OR SERVICES
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the condition, colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your device’s display of any color will be accurate.
By purchasing digital items you agree that you have access to the required software in order to open, read or otherwise use them.
All 3D-printed products come unassembled and unpainted unless otherwise specified. Finer clean-up of support structures is required by the customer. Fillings of putty may be needed. Components may vary slightly from those shown. Production times for each 3D-printed product are estimates. Actual production time may vary. We will inform you if the production time is extended significantly beyond this estimate and, if requested, offer to cancel the purchase and refund you in full.
All of our physical products contain small parts and hazardous material if ingested or inhaled. Handling of such products is at your own responsibility and risk. Handling of such products by children must be under parental supervision and responsibility. Our products should not be used be used by children under the age of 3 years.
Although we will do our best to ensure safe transit of our products to the customer/client we can not guarantee it. Eocene Studios™ is entirely responsible for the products’ condition, including possible loss or damage, up until delivery to a home address or a postal service location, at which point shipment is considered completed liability is transferred to the customer/client. In case of loss or damage before completed shipment and if repair work is not deemed possible or reasonable by Eocene Studios™ and the customer/client, Eocene Studios™ will first and foremost offer to replace the damage or loss. In such a case the customer/client must provide accurate and complete information about what parts and/or items need replacement, unmentioned parts and/or items will not be replaced. Otherwise a partial or full refund will be provided depending on the extent of the loss or damage as determined by us and the customer/client. In case of damage, the customer/client must provide photographic documentation to Eocene Studios™.
If a product is returned, lost or damaged due to the customer/client having failed to provide correct information, including updating expired information, or not picking it up from a home address or a postal service location, any loss, damage or additional costs incurred, including but not limited to import fees for returned parcels, will be their responsibility. This responsibilty extends to a product being seized or destroyed for not paying incurred costs.
These responsibilites also apply to products that are returned by the customer. In all cases, we reserve the right to make deductions on refunds, or withhold refunds.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the service will be corrected.
OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS
All discount codes are applied to the value of the product or commission (excluding model and shipping costs) and are subject to our general “Terms and Conditions”. The discount code must be entered into the Message field on the enquiry page at time of enquiry only. Unless stated, discounts cannot be combined and only one offer can be applied at a time. The expiry date of the discount code will always be advertised along with the code. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw a discount code at any time.
ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. You agree to keep yourself updated on your purchases and/or orders and that information about these (such as status updates) are sent to a location you check regularly.

PROXY NAMING CONVENTION
Some products are intended to be suitable substitutes for official products in other brands, known as ‘proxies’. These product listings contain names and terms from these brands which are there solely to help visitors of the site navigate what the product can be used for and when applicable is clearly stated in each listing. Eocene Studios™ intends no infringement upon copyright with this practice. All rights belong to their respective owners.

SEVERABILITY
In the event that any provision of these “Terms and Conditions” is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these “Terms and Conditions”, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
TERMINATION
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.
These “Terms and Conditions” are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these terms and conditions at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our services, or when you cease using our site.
If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these “Terms and Conditions”, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our services (or any part thereof).
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these “Terms and Conditions” shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These “Terms and Conditions” and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to the service constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the “Terms and Conditions”).
